Our Mission
Our mission statement at Grace is: "A church where GRACE matters". In Ephesians 2:8, we read, "for by grace you have been saved by faith and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God". There is nothing we can do on our own to earn God's grace, forgiveness and eternal life; it is all given to us by God as a gift out of love. God sent His Son, so that we may be saved through His death on the cross and to be joined with Him in Resurrection. And all of this is a free gift from God.
Services - Every Sunday
Join us for our weekly Sunday Worship Service at 10:30 AM. We offer Holy Communion on the First Third, Fifth Sundays and all Feast Days.
Our sanctuary and downstairs Fellowship Hall are easily accessible to everyone with our wheelchair elevator, chair lift, and outdoor ramps.
The Lutheran Hour:
Grace Lutheran Church is a proud
sponsor of "The Lutheran Hour" on WELD radio 101.7 FM, 103.7 FM and 690 AM. It is broadcasted on Sunday mornings from 9:05 am to 9:30 am.
Local Food Pantry
Grace Lutheran Church supports and accepts both non-perishable and monetary donations for the local Petersburg Food Pantry. The Pantry is open on the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Wednesdays of each month from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. To obtain food, please come to the pantry located on 4 Myrtle Ave, Petersburg WV and fill out a request form and we will provide food for you. Must be a resident of Grant county to use this community resource.
